This place is fucking awful. If you’re in the area and need food, save yourself the hassle and go to Burger Burger or Prezzo.
OK, so I get that Nando’s is fast food, and I get that you don’t freeze the chicken, but is there any need to take 40 minutes to serve a cold chicken [...]

Who’s the prick that thought automatically restarting a PC, without user intervention while applications are running, was a good idea? I just got in to work this morning to find that an Windows update required an automatic restart. The PC restarted even though applications were running. Did it restart the applications for me? Did it [...]

A few minutes after I put all my nice, clean laundry away, this happened. That black bag in the lower-right is a rubble sack, already full of plaster. Marvellous.
Fortunately no one was hurt, and there’s no significant damage to any of the furniture. It could have been more serious - that lump of plaster resting [...]

What a bunch of rip-off merchants this organisation is.
Like, I suppose, many people who auto-renew their insurance policies I figured Direct Line would offer a good deal on fully comprehensive, NCD protected cover. I was wrong.

Microsoft and Nikon have teamed up to create the Iconic Britain web site, illegally using images from photographers.
Millions of photos have been harvested from the internet without the owners’ or copyright holders’ permission so that people who have no connection with the photos can vote on them in a competition. While claiming to take [...]

Sitting at work, on a sunning spring Saturday morning, I read a response to a post on the Photo Answers forum that caught my eye. Although it’s an old thread (about three weeks old), I had to reply. There seems to be a lot of stupid, sheep-like fools in the world today.
Mary-Lou said:I [...]

Moka, a nice little independently run cafe in Cheltenham’s Montpellier area. Serving up a range of tempting cakes, sandwiches, paninis, coffees and teas, you’d be forgiven for thinking Moka’s a decent alternative to bland, packaged and over-priced offerings from megacorps like Starbucks and Costa. It’s the sort of place you feel good about visiting. On [...]

This lot of crooks is currently running a leaflet drop in my area. They’re a bunch of thieving bastards that are merely conning people out of items that would otherwise be given to legitimate causes.
The bunch of wankers behind Help and Support are only out to fool people in to giving them gear that [...]

About an hour ago our local air ambulance landed in a park near my house. Being the alert photographer that I am, I grabbed my camera and headed off to see what was going on.
It seems that an elderly gentleman had had some sort of accident on a driveway, though I don’t know any more [...]
