Scammers Are Idiots

Last week I received an email from some dumb-fuck based in Nigeria. I don’t know what it is about Nigeria, but a lot of dumb-fucks live there.
The email was asking for my help in securing £9.5million. Shit. That’s a lot of money, so I figured, “Why not?” and responded to offer my assistance.
In order that we build a trusted relationship, Dumb Fuck sent me a scan of her passport to show me what she looks like. The thing is, the document is invalid for a number of reasons:
- the face is smiling
- the face is at an angle
- the body is clearly that of a thin black guy
- most of the details have obviously been over-typed in some extremely bad Photoshopping
- the details are mis-aligned
Why are most scammers dumb-fucks? If they’re managing to make money there must be scope for someone smart, someone like me, to make even more wonga doing this sort of thing.
