Supposing I parked on the mini roundabout shown on this map (http://tinyurl.com/665rk3 - Cambray Place and Bath Place), on double-yellow lines with the front of the car in front of the give way lines, and the back of the car behind them, with a log-book on the dashboard that said “Gloucestershire Constabulary” should I expect a ticket?
What if the car is not a marked police car nor an unmarked police car, such as a 51 plate blue Ford Focus? Would that help me avoid a ticket, or would a traffic warden, or other police service employee think I was having a laugh? What penalty/penalties should I expect?
