Blurb revisited
Aug 6th, 2007 by Intermanaut
Following on from my previous post about these books, Blurb reprinted the books for me, using their new print facility in The Netherlands.
While Blurb is to be commended on re-processing my order within an hour of receiving photos of the damaged books, despatched from the new Netherlands’ print facility, the second batch is worse insofar as the covers are completely wrongly printed.
The front photo is two inches from the edge, the front cover title is on the spine, and the text from the spine is on the back of the book. The text on the inside flap of the back cover is two inches from the edge of the book.
I think it’s incredulous that an order that’s been reprinted arrives in a worse state than the first. There’s nothing about Blurb that would lead me to recommend them to anyone. Good customer service is pointless if you consistently receive crap goods or services.
